Scroll Timer

Say how long you'll look. See how long it really took.

What it does

Before you open something, you say what it is — social, video, news, shopping, games — and how many minutes you mean to spend. A short pause runs, then the timer starts. When you stop, the app shows the one number it exists for: the gap between the minutes you said and the minutes it took. The day is drawn as a single 24-hour strip.

It blocks nothing, asks for no permissions, and reads no system data. Every minute in the ledger comes from a session you started yourself.

Common questions

How do I get started?
Open the app and follow the on-screen guide — no account or setup required.
Does it read iOS Screen Time?
No. The app does not read Screen Time, and it cannot see which apps you use or for how long. It only records the sessions you start in it.
Does it block or lock anything?
No. Nothing is blocked, hidden or delayed against your will, and no permission is requested. The pause before a session is a few seconds you choose yourself, and you can set it to zero.
What if I forget to stop a session?
The app closes it at the length you planned and marks it as an estimate, so a forgotten session never invents hours you did not spend. You can correct the end time afterwards.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. Scroll Timer has no accounts and no analytics; nothing leaves your phone.
How do I manage my subscription?
In your device's Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
