Scroll Timer · Last updated 18 August 2026
Scroll Timer is a personal tracking app. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
Nothing. Scroll Timer has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDK and no advertising. We do not collect, transmit or sell personal information, and the developer has no access to your data.
Scroll Timer does not read iOS Screen Time and does not use Apple's Screen Time APIs (Family Controls, Device Activity, Managed Settings). It cannot see which apps you open, how long you use them, your browsing history, your contacts, your location or your health data, and it never asks for permission to any of them. Every minute in your ledger comes from a session you started in the app yourself.
Your sessions, days and achievements are stored in a local database on your device. Deleting the app deletes this data. We run no servers and your data is never uploaded anywhere by us.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules them locally on your device to tell you a running session has reached the length you planned. They are created and delivered on the device; no notification content is sent to us or to any other service. You can turn them off at any time in your device's Settings.
Payments are processed by Apple. To validate purchases the app uses RevenueCat, which receives pseudonymous purchase-receipt information (such as a random app user ID and transaction details) — never your name, email or your in-app data. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Scroll Timer is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
